We knew that Galaga: Tekken Edition would be coming to iOS and Android in Japan today. What we wasn't sure of was whether it would be available anywhere else.Turns out that Bandai Namco has released it outside of Japan too. Yep, you should be able to download it for free right now, at least, you can in the US and Europe.As we mentioned before, Galaga: Tekken Edition was made to celebrate the fighting game's 20th anniversary.It replaces the classic arcade shooter Galaga with characters from Tekken. Rather than a spaceship, you can play as Heihachi Mishima, Lili, or Tekken 7 newbie Claudio Serafino.And rather than shooting insects, you go up against King and his army of wrestlers. There are also triple threats to take on comprised of Bob, Ganryu and, Jack, as well as Xiaoyu, Panda, and Alisa, and more.The characters you're able to play as each have slightly different shooting styles: Lili fires rapidly, Claudio has piercing shots, while Heihachi throws a headbutt.As you beat stages, you'll unlock more playable characters that, presumably, also have their own unique attacks.Last thing to note is that it's possible to perform tag team attacks as well as call upon Pac-Man, who eats all of the enemies on the screen.You can download Galaga: Tekken Edition for free on the App Store and Google Play....

It's Tuesday tomorrow, and you know what that means. It's time for James Gilmour to take to the airwaves with another engaging, entertaining, and informative TableTap stream over on Twitch. And for this instalment, JG is taking to the rails.That's right, tomorrow we're going to be streaming everyone's favourite game of steam trains, track, and other things related to train travel, Ticket to Ride. The game might have been out for a while, but that doesn't mean there's not fun to be had.I mean, for one thing, James likes buses better than trains. Perhaps this stream is when he'll finally be cured of that quite frankly nonsensical notion....

If you think of Sonic the Hedgehog, some of your minds may go from 'beloved childhood classic' to 'starting point of the Sanic meme'. But, I don't know if any of you ever thought of our favourite blue hedgehog being delinquent material.Over on Deadline, an interview with Paramount's Chairman & CEO, Jim Gianopulos, finally gave us a clue as to what to expect from the upcoming live action film."He's a juvenile delinquent on the adventures in a pretty straight rural environment with a local policeman. It was instantly engaging and it was good enough where you could see where it's going." As reported in The Wrap's interview, the main theme is friendship where Sonic and the local policeman will come together when both of them need a friend.Cute as that sounds, it's so... weird. Anyone who's played the video games before will know that Sonic as a character is a goodie-two-shoes who's there to help his friends, wants to save the day, and is always down for a bit of Robotnik butt-kicking.So, for this version of Sonic to be someone who loiters, maybe gels his blue spikes right back, kicks in car windows, tags walls, terrorises the local citizens, and yells at the MAN (maybe), it just doesn't feel totally right. With a policeman on board I can see why a delinquent Sonic would be needed, but I really will have to see this to believe it.I mean, I kind-of want it to work. It's got some great names involved in the project so far including James Marsden (Westworld, Enchanted), and Tim Miller (Deadpool Director) as executive producer.What do you guys think?
