pQube have released a new trailer for developer Joysteak's musical platformer Songbird Symphony. The trailer is a great look at the variety of levels, but also underlines the role that other characters play in the levels.Songbird Symphony, for those unfamiliar, is a puzzle platformer with musical elements running throughout. Levels feature other insects and animals which need helping out, as well as rhythm puzzles, each one adding to the music of the level. The biggest stand-out for the game however is the showdown/boss-fights which are large song sequences, each unique, which challenge you to face off against creatures. These are wonderfully executed songs, and the entire sequence is animated beautifully.

"Leslie!" exclaimed Anne in amazement. "Whatever are you doing--HERE--tonight?"WWDC was pretty intense the other day. Not only for the ton of new software and software updates on the way, but also from how advanced and promising some of the bits were (I'm looking at you ARKit 2).However, let's not forget that the Apple Design Awards went on not too long afterwards and these winners are well worth screaming about. If you regularly lament the fact that mobile games aren't challenging enough, then you're in luck - Quantum Shake has developed a real tough one in Tap Fly Hero.As the name suggests, you have to tap to launch your chosen character throughout numerous challenging levels, avoiding lava and a variety of other pitfalls. There are two buttons which launch you diagonally to the right or the left, and you have to use these in combination to maneuver about. It's trickier than it sounds. So much so, in fact, that Quantum Shake were quick to point out that most players don't complete the first level until their second day of playing. That's what helps keep it addictive though, as you always feel like you'll manage it on your next attempt.

"He's Gilbert Blythe," said Marilla contentedly. Marilla would have died the death before she would have put into words the thought that was always in the background of her mind whenever she had looked at Gilbert from his childhood up--the thought that, had it not been for her own wilful pride long, long ago, he might have been HER son. Marilla felt that, in some strange way, his marriage with Anne would put right that old mistake. Good had come out of the evil of the ancient bitterness.
